This major remodel had issues with the path of travel running diagonally through the kitchen, and an awkward two-table layout.

To give these entertainers their dream kitchen, we moved the back door to align with the walkway between the pool and patio. This move created an open corner for a more efficient L-shaped kitchen and extra-deep island. The oversized 48" depth allows for distance between the cooktop and seating, while keeping the chef involved in the conversation.

The corner pantry provides more linear storage, and the line of buffet cabinets along the dining room ensure no loss of countertop. We also centered the sink on the window, fixing a small annoyance in the first layout.

There's enough space to extend the dining table, so this eat-in kitchen can comfortably seat 16, while also increasing the function of this kitchen for this family.
